Michelle Hicks

Michele Hicks made her acting debut in the Sony Classics feature Twin Falls, Idaho starring opposite Mark and Michael Polish. The unusual love story premiered to wide acclaim at the 1999 Sundance Film Festival and won the Grand Jury Prize at the Deauville Film Festival. Hicks makes her return to Sundance in 2003 for the premiere of the Polish brothers' greatly anticipated follow up to Twin Falls, Idaho, Northfork, in which she stars opposite Kyle MacLachlan and Nick Nolte.

Hicks had a busy winter. She most recently finished production on Messengers, Philip Farha's story of alien communiques, in which Hicks stars opposite Erik Jensen, Frankie Faison and Amy Wright. Earlier Hicks wrapped on Distress, a psychological thriller about obsession and desperation directed by Blue Kraning. Hicks stars in this film as a young business-woman who finds herself trapped with a fixated colleague.

Hicks' other independent film credits include Fiona MacKenzie's Deadly Little Secrets, in which Hicks starred opposite Dylan Walsh and Craig Sheffer and Everything Put Together, Marc Foster's film about a community of women coping with the loss of a member's child. In Ropewalk, Hicks stars opposite Peter Facinelli and Leslie Ann Warren as a young photographer who becomes romantically involved with her boyfriend's younger brother after a tragic accident.

Hicks is well known in the fashion world where she enjoys a career as an immensely successful model. In her six years in the business she has worked with numerous acclaimed designers and photographers.
