Matthew Ferguson

A three-time nominee for the Genie Award, Canada's Oscar-equivalent, Matthew Ferguson studied at the Claude Watson School for the Performing Arts. He made his acting debut at age 17 in a theatrical production of Geometry in Venice, garnering a Dora Mavor Moore Award nomination for best featured actor. The Toronto Island, Ontario, native has also appeared in Measure for Measure, Blueprints From Space and other plays. His film credits include director Denys Arcand Love & Human Remains (for which Ferguson earned his first Genie nomination), Billy Madison and The English Patient. He received Genie nominations for Best Actor in a Leading Role for the films Eclipse and Lilies (a.k.a. Les Fleurettes). Ferguson co-starred in the popular USA Network series La Femme Nikita, playing young computer-genius twins Jason and Seymour Birkoff.
