Biography #2 (for In Her Shoes)

Mark Feuerstein starred opposite Katie Homes in the feature film thriller, Abandon directed by Oscar-winner Stephen Gaghan. He portrayed Mel Gibson's sidekick in the comedy hit What Women Want. Feuerstein's other film credits include The Muse, starring Albert Brooks and Sharon Stone; the courtroom drama Rules of Engagement, opposite Tommy Lee Jones and Samuel L. Jackson; the romantic comedy Woman On Top, starring Penelope Cruz; and Practical Magic opposite Sandra Bullock.

Feuerstein had a key recurring role in the award-winning television drama, The West Wing. He starred in the NBC series Good Morning Miami, a comedy about a producer who takes a job on the lowest-rated morning show in the country to pursue the love of his life. He had a guest-starring role on the series Ally McBeal opposite Calista Flockhart, and a recurring role opposite Sela Ward and Billy Campbell on the drama Once and Again. His television credits also include Sex and the City, Conrad Bloom, Fired Up and Caroline in the City.

Mark Feuerstein can now be seen on screens co-starring with Tommy Lee Jones and Samuel L. Jackson in Rules of Engagement. He was recently featured in the comedies The Muse directed by Albert Brooks and starring Brooks and Sharon Stone, Casanova Falling with Dabney Coleman and the independent production 30 Days.

Feuerstein is now filming What Women Want with Mel Gibson, Helen Hunt and Marisa Tomei. He made his major studio theatrical film debut in Practical Magic starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman.

The young actor is currently playing a recurring character in ABC's hot series Once and Again. He has starred in two television series created by James Burrows: Conrad Bloom which debuted in 1998 and Fired Up which aired the previous year, starring Sharon Lawrence. He also had a recurring role on Caroline in the City during the show's 1995 season.

A graduate of Princeton University, Feuerstein performed in the theater program there before moving to Europe where he studied the art of clowning at Ecole Phillipe Gaulier and appeared in several productions at London's MacOwen Theatre.
