Biography #2 (for Dharma & Greg)

Two-time Emmy nominee Susan Sullivan is well-known to television audiences for her starring role as Maggie in the long-running hit series, Falcon Crest. She has also starred in the television series, It's a Living, Rich Man, Poor Man, Julie Farr, MD, The George Carlin Show, and the short-lived but critically acclaimed The Monroes.

Her hilarious depiction of Kitty Montgomery in ABC's hit series, Dharma & Greg, has garnered a Golden Globe Award nomination.

Sullivan has also starred in a number of telefilms and miniseries including The Comedy Company with George Burns, The Ordeal of Dr. Mudd, Panic on Page One, The New Maverick, The Incredible Hulk and Midway.

Born in New York, Sullivan attended Hofstra University. On Broadway, she starred in Jimmy Shine opposite Dustin Hoffman and The Beauty Part. Her regional theater credits include productions at Cleveland Playhouse, the Hartford Stage Company and the Mark Taper Forum. She is now a member of the Matrix Theater Company in Los Angeles.

Sullivan's most recent film credits include the box-office hit, My Best Friend's Wedding, and the independent film, Show and Tell.

A spokesperson and key supporter for the charitable organization, Save the Children, Sullivan is also associated with The Arthritis Foundation, which recently awarded her with the Foundation's 1998 Jane Wyman Humanitarian Award.

Bi-coastal, she shares her life with noted psychologist Connell Cowan, author of several books, including the best-seller, Smart Woman, Foolish Choices.
