JEFFREY NACHMANOFFpenned the script for 2004's ecological disaster film The Day After Tomorrow with Roland Emmerich. Raised in Arlington, Virginia and London, Nachmanoff earned a B.A. in Visual Studies and English Literature at Harvard University. His interest in cinema grew out of a photo documentary he made about his time spent traveling with a family circus. He attended USC film school on a Kodak cinematography scholarship and then spent time as an editor of documentaries. Nachmanoff optioned his first script, a noir thriller set in the world of international art forgery, to producer Scott Rudin. Since then, he has worked steadily as a screenwriter, writing everything from science fiction to action comedy for various studios, including an adaptation of the bestselling video game Prince of Persia for producer Jerry Bruckheimer.
