Biography #2 (for Missing)

Born and raised in Toronto, Caterina Scorsone is the middle child in a family of five siblings that include two older twin sisters and a younger brother and sister. She got her first taste of acting in the living room where her older sister would play director and all the other kids were in the cast. She has been a professional actor since the age of eight when she was a regular on the daytime children's program Mr. Dress-Up for Canada's CBC.

She is a veteran of series television, working on the first season of 1-800-MISSING and three previous series, Shock Treatment, Once a Thief and Power Play, for which she was nominated for a Gemini Award, the Canadian equivalent of the Emmy.

Scorsone's television movies include My Horrible Year!, directed by Eric Stoltz, Common Ground, The Mitchell Brothers Project, directed by Emilio Estevez, The Devil's Arithmetic and Rescuers: Stories of Courage.

Her feature film credits include The Third Miracle with Ed Harris and Anne Heche, Borderline Normal and Strike!

She went to the University of Toronto, working toward an Arts and Sciences degree. Her studies are currently on hold while she is in production with MISSING.
