Long, an immensely talented actress, whose feature films include Only God Knows and Class of ‘44, has been acting since age 8 when she starred as the last Maggie Muggins in the CBC television series of the same name. Since then she has performed in more than 30 television and film productions, the most recent of which were CBC TV's Twitch City, Global/Disney's Ready Or Not, To Sleep with Danger and Top Cops, both for CBS. She was a regular on ABC's The Comedy Factor, the series lead in CBC's Mosquito Lake with Mike MacDonald, and starred in Rapture and Street Legal, among others.
On stage she has performed such diverse characters as a young boy in Tom Stoppard's On the Razzle to a 55-year-old woman in Tony Nerdi's A Modo Suo (In His Own Way), which took her back to her Italian roots. On radio, she co-stars in Rumours and Boarders, a CBC soap opera which airs nationally three-times a week. Born in Toronto to Italian parents from Calabria, Long, of course, speaks fluent Italian, which she uses in the picture. She lives in Toronto with her actor husband Sandy Crawley and their actor son Amos. Another son, Jonas, is a foley artist in Vancouver.
