Al Thompson
Thompson was most recently seen in the films The Royal Tenenbaums alongside Gene Hackman and Angelica Houston, A Walk to Remember starring Mandy Moore and Shane West and the ESPN movie A Season on the Brink: A Year with Bob Knight and the Indiana Hoosiers, which is based on the best-selling book by John Feinstein. Thompson also starred in two films screened at the Sundance Film Festival: 3D and Muse 6.
On the small screen, Thompson has guest-starred in Sidney Lumet's critically acclaimed A&E series 100 Centre Street. In his spare time, Thompson enjoys playing basketball and supports the NBA Entertainment League, a league for celebrities, with fellow actors Ethan Hawke and Ice Cube, to name a few.
Thompson has also recently taken a stab at directing and will go into production on his untitled documentary project later this year. He currently resides in New York in his hometown of Harlem.
