Holland Taylor

Of Holland Taylor, Broadway critic John Simon said, "She is one of the very few utterly graceful, attractive, elegant and technically accomplished actresses in our theater." Memorable New York performances include Bess in Breakfast with Les and Bess: A Comedy in Two Acts; Butley: A Play, opposite Alan Bates; and A.R. Gurney's The Cocktail Hour.

No stranger to film, Taylor has appeared in such features as To Die For, Next Stop Wonderland, One Fine Day, George of the Jungle, The Truman Show, Happy Accidents, Keeping the Faith, Legally Blonde, Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams and Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over.

On television, Holland's work on CBS' comedy hit Two and a Half Men earned her Emmy Award nominations in 2005 and 2007. She won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama for The Practice and was nominated for AMC's The Lot. Other series-starring roles include Norman Lear's The Powers That Be, The Naked Truth with Téa Leoni and her Los Angeles debut, Bosom Buddies, with Tom Hanks.
