Cynda Williams first gained public attention with her stellar debut in Spike Lee's Mo' Better Blues. Her follow-up performance in the classic One False Move established her as an actor to watch. Other feature film credits include the upcoming independent feature Relax . . . It's Only Sex, Skylark, Spirit Lost, The Tie That Binds, and Condition Red.
Williams' work in television includes guest appearance on New York Undercover and Marker. She has also appeared on Gang in Blue and Fallen Angels: Fearless for Showtime, as well as in Tales of the City for PBS. Also upcoming: The Wedding on ABC presented by Oprah Winfrey.
Theatrical experience includes Evita and Little Shop of Horrors for Ball State Summer Theater. Williams has also performed in Two by Two, A Chorus Line, A Raisin in the Sun, and West Side Story.
