David Charvet
David Charvet is best known to television audiences for his portrayal of lifeguard Matt Brody on Baywatch, in which he starred for three seasons. After leaving Baywatch, Charvet starred in the television movies Seduced and Betrayed, Derby and Angel Flight Down. Born in Lyon, France, on May 15, 1972, Charvet and his family moved to New York in 1981 and then to Los Angeles in 1982. He began his acting training with renowned acting teachers such as Roy London, Katherine Billings and Peter Frisch, among others. This past year he completed a voice intensive course at Canada's Simon Fraser University which encompassed training in Shakespeare. A true role model for young adults, Charvet is proud to admit that he has never used alcohol or drugs. An important goal for him is to be able to use his profile as an actor to speak out to youths against substance abuse. Charvet is single and resides in Los Angeles.
