Lisa Vidal
A native New Yorker, Vidal graduated from New York City's prestigious and equally famous High School of Performing Arts (the basis for the film and subsequent television show Fame) and worked with the legendary Raul Julia in the La Familia Theater Company.
She then began nabbing roles in shows such as Miami Vice and Law & Order. She has become quite a pro at portraying policewomen, having played ones before The Division in both New York Undercover and The Commish. She also appeared in the 1996 television series High Incident, for which she received an actual fan letter from Steven Spielberg for her work on the show. She played Dr. Sarah Morales on another popular NBC series, Third Watch.
Vidal's film credits include Night and the City, which starred Robert De Niro and Jessica Lange, and Mighty Aphrodite, directed by and starring Woody Allen. She can currently be seen in the independent film Blue Diner on HBO, which won a 2002 ALMA award for Best Independent Film.
Vidal lives in Los Angeles with her husband Jay and their two sons, Max and Scott. In her spare time, she enjoys salsa dancing and creating scrapbooks with her children.
