Rhona Mitra
Mitra is in pre-production to star in Doomsday for Rogue Pictures. This film is a futuristic action thriller written and to be directed by Neil Marshall. The story is set 30 years after a deadly plague known as the Reaper Virus tore through a major country, leading to the country's walling off. Mitra plays the leader of the elite group sent by the government investigating the possibility of a cure.
Rhona Mitra was last seen on the award winning series Nip/Tuck. Mitra joined the series as New York detective 'Kit McGraw' sent to find the serial mutilator known only as The Carver. The premiere episode garnered rave reviews and received the highest ratings among adults 18-49 of any series on FX.
After the success of her break-out role as Tara Wilson on the final season of The Practice, David E. Kelley asked her to continue the role as the sexy attorney on ABC's Boston Legal. The impressive ensemble cast includes James Spader, Candice Bergen, William Shatner and Monica Potter.
On the big screen, her film credits include Universal Pictures' The Life of David Gale opposite Kevin Spacey, Highwaymen opposite Jim Caviezel, Sweet Home Alabama with Reese Witherspoon, Working Title's Ali G in Da House, Hollowman, and Get Carter.
Mitra all starred opposite Goran Visnjic in USA Network's epic miniseries Spartacus. She has also appeared in the television series Gideon's Crossing and Party of Five as well as the BBC miniseries The Man Who Made Husbands Jealous. Mitra currently resides in Los Angeles.
