Lorraine Bracco
Lorraine Bracco's life in the public eye started in front of the camera as a Wilhelmina model. She then made the jump to film in 1979 in the French-directed DUOS SUR CANAPE. Her most remarkable film work was her role as Mafia wife Karen Hill in Scorsese's GOODFELLAS (where her real life daughter, Stella, played her character's daughter as well!). She just completed RIDING IN CARS WITH BOYS, directed by Penny Marshall, where she plays Drew Barrymore's mother.
Lorraine Bracco was nominated for the 2001 Emmy Award for outstanding lead actress in a drama series for her role as Dr. Jennifer Melfi on HBO's original hit series, THE SOPRANOS. Bracco has also been nominated for the 2001 Golden Globe award for best actress in a leading role - drama series.
