Carmen Chaplin made her 1990 film debut in
Wim Wenders' Travel Around the World. Fluent in English, French, Italian and Spanish, the granddaughter of
Charlie Chaplin has starred in both American and foreign language films and television. Chaplin recently completed filming a starring role in The Hermit of Amsterdam opposite
Burt Reynolds and
Julie Christie. Her work in Philippe Rousselot's The Serpent's Kiss, starring as the object of
Ewan McGregor's affections, garnered her critical acclaim and international recognition. Chaplin also appeared in My Favorite Season with
Catherine Deneuve, The Sacred Night, The Strange Case of Mr. K and Dis Moi-Oui.
