She spends her summers at The Williamstown Theater Festival, where she recently appeared in The Winter's Tale, directed by Darko Tresniak. Burton is a recipient of an Emmy and a Theater World award. She recently brought her acclaimed Hedda Gabler to Broadway under the direction of Nicholas Martin.
