| by Bets MxKenzie Warren should have gotten the Oscar for Best Actor in this terrific movie. This movie was as much a romantic comedy as it was a drama about a psychotic killer. Glamour is the disguise. He is not glorified, you like him because he was personable and fun to be around. He was a dreramer and is responsible for Las Vegas becoming Las Vegas. His big ideas were more important than money. He is the only actor who could play this part and Annette Bening was beautifully cast as Virginia Hill. She can play any script you hand her but I like her best in romantic comedies. Bugsy 1991, Love Affair 1994, The American President 1995. Open Range 2003. These movies are timeless. Running With Scissors 2006 will be out in February. Bugsy is romantic without being sentimental, The Flamingo Tower is his dream, his vision come true and Las Vegas is a theme park and legit just like he planned. This movie should be released again.
