Peta Wilson
A native of Australia, Wilson moved to the United States in 1991 and studied with acting coaches Arthur Mendoza from the Actors Circle Theater in Los Angeles, Tom Waits at TomCats Repertory Group, Stuart Rodgers, and Sylvana Gulado. Wilson landed her first acting role in a production of Fool for Love for the Actors Circle Theater. Her additional credits include the feature films Sadness of Sex, Loser, Woman Undone; and Mercy; the cable anthology Strangers; the telefilm Vanishing Point; and the Showtime miniseries It's A Girl Thing.
Wilson, who spent her early years traveling with her family as an army brat, was raised in Papua, New Guinea. She is also an accomplished sailor, having garnered the title of Australian Interservice Champion Trailer Sailor along with her father and brother. Her personal interests include classic cars, the theatre, and all kinds of music, especially blues and country. She is also an avid reader and collects photojournalism books. Her active and athletic lifestyle often includes scuba diving, swimming, water skiing, and yoga.
