Bartilson won her first talent competition with a dance solo at the age of 7 and began acting professionally at the age of 9. Her first television appearance came a year later on the season finale of Married...with Children. At the same time, she began singing and performing in professional musical theater productions across Los Angeles. She played the title role in three different productions of Annie, starred as Ramona Quimby and received rave reviews as Effie Lou in the world premiere of Amelia Bedelia. She also continued to dance, appearing twice in the Joffrey Ballet's Nutcracker.
Bartilson's television credits include the Hallmark Christmas musical special Mrs. Santa Claus opposite Angela Lansbury, a role that Bartilson won over 500 girls who auditioned for the part. Other guest starring roles include The WB's 7th Heaven and Zoe, Duncan, Jack & Jane, That '70s Show, Philly, Suddenly Susan, Any Day Now and Early Edition. She played a mentally challenged teen on Judging Amy and was cast in the recurring role of Parker Brookes on Party of Five.
Additional theater credits include the Los Angeles productions of Paper Moon, West Side Story, The Philadelphia Story and Tight Quarters. She won a Dramalogue Award for her acting, singing and dancing performance in Situation Tragedy. In addition, she spent a season dancing for the Los Angeles Sparks professional women's basketball team as one of the Sparkids.
Bartilson has served as the creative director and lead choreographer and is the international spokesperson for Youth for Human Rights.
Bartilson lives in Los Angeles with her family and her cats, Callie, Ms. Thing and Izzo. When she's not working, she loves to dance, play music and hang out with her friends.
