I have been looking for a copy of The Thanksgiving Promise for years and still have not been able to locate it. Do you know where I can get a copy of this movie, and if so, how much it costs? I would be greatful if you would e-mail me and let me know.

Hi

I am trying to find out where I can get a bracelet like the one worn by Jeff Bridges in the movie "The Vanishing". It was the bracelet give to him by his daughter.

To Jeff, the Bridges family etc.

I live not too far from where Blaine and Brenton Yorgason were raised, and I have been trying to find copies of "The Thanksgiving Promise" (or, as we always knew it "Chester, I Love You") since it was first aired. I have never been able to find any way to obtain it. All of our children and our grandchildren have either been charmed by the story through the video, or through our 'retelling'm the story to them. Please Please, let me know how I may obtain at least 6 copies of this TREASURE for my family. I would prefer DVD, but would take it in whatever format It may be available.

I was recently informed by disney that they never released THE THANKSGIVING PROMISE on VHS or DVD, however if you notify Disney at disneyinfo@disneyhelp.com they will log your request for this film in to their marketing department. Who knows maybe if they get enough people requesting this movie they will finally put it out on DVD. Big smile

i'd just like to say that every film I have seen that has Jeff in, is memorable. The first time I saw him was in Starman and wow!!!!! I was totally hooked. I love the psychological films, his grunts, his groans, his laugh and most of all his facial expressions. Just wish we could see more films with Jeff in. The latest film of Jeff's that I've seen is Seabiscuit. keep making those films Jeff and you'll keep this lady very happy. Smile

still got my old message on line i see.i was hoping to start a coolection of dvds with jeff in but im having trouble persuading my family and friends to buy. the general excuse is they cant find the films stocked in the shops how lame is that i ask you!! My youngest daughter tends to buy dvds for me but buys the films she likes to see which are not always to my taste but i wouldnt tell her that. what i need is a list of the films and references of where i could purchase them.

I thought you might be interested to know that there is a jockey cap signed by Jeff as a tribute to his Seabiscuit character on eBay right now. he decorated it especially for the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club's Celebrity Chapeau Auction and all proceeds go to his favorite charity - the End Hunger Network. It is only there for one more day so place a bid and spread the word.
