Strangely who would play Massinissa? I still have nightmares of him in my daydreams. A.J. Rogers author of "World's Great Men Of Color" Vol. 1 page 110 as feather in the Rome's hat. | by glenn At the risk of being really embarrassed, and maybe I'm missing something, but I just saw Deja Vu about an hour ago, and a few things didn't add up. Why is Denzel's bloody shirt in Claire's apartment the FIRST time he goes there? And his fingerprints are everywhere? Why was the ambulance crashed into the terrorists house when Denzel went there 2 days after the ferry explosion? The only thing i can think of is that he has gone back in time before and tried to stop the ferry explosion and claire's murder, but failed. They dont actually make this clear in the movie though. | by kblackshear This is a the type of movie that black folk need. The only movies that get made about us is the gangsta and pimp movies, Family Reunions, Slave Trade. The sad fact is that we have a history that goes back beyound recorded history. I have been preaching to my friends after I read black man of the nile and his family how a movie of this magnitude could spur a revolution in black research about our ancient glory that has been hidden from us. I think this could be a first step in many more of these types of movies. Movies can have a huge effect on the psychic. I remember the first time i saw roots. I had no idea about slavery but after i saw that movie i was shook. Please make this movie for historical accuracy. Comment on this... |

We came in to 1954 with every nations needy. We gave up everything to let every nation have a life in America. We as African-American get very little help from the outside world. Martin Laurence as an Carthageian leader is like have J. Foxx as Ray Charles is a joke if you like Denzel can't act out V.D. Not taking anything from V.D. | by Cas Richardsen I think Denzel should go along with the movies not matter who's cast as the role. I think African-American have a problem of caring too much about their image of Hollywood. They depend Hollywood and they have lose their moral image of themselves. If you allow America to see the world how they see it. Everyone is white who have knowledge. Denzel isn't African he's white, tell that to that to the coward Numidians. Being a poet, no afraid of America. I say, do your movie anyways African-Americans and other creeds will come and see.
