| by Chris Everyone here seems to understand that Michael Ironside is one of the greatest actors of all time. In the world of Cinema there are very few actors who are as readily recognizeable as Mr. Ironside. I'm a great admirer of his, and wish his movie career to continue for many years so that he may give life to a great many more characters. If I could ask Michael Ironsides any question, it would be if he ever got frustrated with other actors. In Starship Troopers he was excellent but had to engage in onscreen conversation with Casper Van Dien (Rico). And he still managed to make it look good. Anyway, yet another fan in a sea of fans. | by robert alan swanson michael ironside thank you for helping me get a role as a extra in the philippines. All you said was yes i know him. Then i was in the movie. That started my movie..but i today need to get into the movies again can you please help me? I was in the philippines for 12 years i have learned plenty. I would like to become a extra again and then movie up the ladder to actor. So I can make some money. Today the net of 50/50 movie writing the real facts/and then playing the movie as not real facts. Like many of your movies which are real good. How to tell the people the real story/ Like the underground bases in the usa that work with aliens. and the mach 2 cars that nasa runs. it is all good. but what about the american people placed out of the jobs and no place to go. the government takes the bite or the president he cant talk but we can. look the cia and nasa control to much today. maybe we have to close the agency down....cia. If not we are really in for a war. look i love usa but the philippines and the 300,000 tons of yamashita gold the japanese want it all they have taken posts in the philippine government. like to get a movie with you..bob Comment on this... |

| by cyndi this is a neat forum; there's an ironmaidens e-mail list somewhere i was a member of for a while. i like the part in the biography that says he's a seasoned actor with a devoted cult following...i guess that's true! so yeah, a.p.k, he's a ladies' man and a tough guy's guy.  www.michaelironside.com has the most up-to-date info; i don't see a link to it anywhere. there's also a great article from a fan who met him in london and her experiences for us who may never get the honor. | by Michael I came up with a list of my top 20 questions I would ask Michael Ironside. Chief among them was "What was your favorite movie to be in" followed by "Which role did you love to play the most?" Has anyone seen the BLADES series, where he's the bad guy? And how about this remake of Poisdeion Adventure, or however you spell it, where he's the Priest? That's what I'm talking aboot. Anybody want to do a national Ironside day? I want to. Sounds borderline stalkeresk. But hey, I want to get with some fellow Ironside fans and discuss. | by Michael Harrelson When I first saw "V", this dude was the best. I recently bought the series, and WOW. It was like 12 hidden episodes I never knew existed, because I never watched the series. It is my goal to meet him one day before I die, as he is one of the first and most important reasons I am an actor today. If anyone knows how to contact him I WILL PAY TOP DOLLAR. Ok, maybe not TOP Top, but I WANT TO MEET THIS ACTOR. He was just so great in V, Chaindance (Common Bonds), Deadly Surveillance, Total Recall, Black Ice, Scanners, Murder in Space was nice....just everything.
