I have only discovered her amazing talent within the past year. A local Chicago station (Me Tv) replays the Peter Gunn TV show. They also have shown the Kid Galahad movie. The interplay between Lola and Craig Stevens is sexier than even Sharon Stone in her movie with M. Douglas.

I wish I could find her music. Does anyone know if it has been digitized (CD'd). I love every 50 seconds or so of her voice when appearing in her role in the Gunn series.

Personally I think she is by far hotter than Marilyn Monroe. This is back when women were women__before the injections and replacements.

By the way I am 50 years old.

Definitely by the time she made JOY HOUSE she was far more accomplished a film actress.Perhaps prolific stage work might have solidified her reputation. Why she avoided this area of acting is baffling. She made a sci-fi for Universal Pictures in 1957 called Monolith Monsters-why is this ommited from her bio?

Lola Albright is definately under-rated as an actress and singer. Well known for her role as Edie on "Peter Gunn" she also starred in feature films, t.v. shows, etc. where talent can be fully observed. I have her "Dreamsville" LP and it is a treat to listen to. Thank you Lola for just being you.

Lola Albright is one of America's great under-rated actresses. Although she has a respectable film career, much of her work was playing guest spots on TV in almost every series of the 1960s and early 1970s you can think of. Mysterious, beatuiful, elegant and sexy, she was a versatile performer whose range was never fully utilized. Miss Albright is now in her 80s, and retired. One day, I think a special tribute page is in order for this captivating actress who intrigued so many viewers, then left the scene discretely, leaving nothing but her works as a legacy.
