Vanessa Martinez

Vanessa Martinez made her feature film debut in John Sayles' Lone Star, playing Young Pilar.

Presently a sophomore at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, TX, studying English literature, the Texas native began her professional acting career in commercials while still in the eighth grade.

Martinez subsequently won the role of Teresa Garza in the ABC miniseries Streets of Laredo, based on the sequel to Larry McMurtry's acclaimed novel Lonesome Dove. She also had a guest-starring appearance on the series Walker, Texas Ranger.
