| by Maria Moreno Mr. Colin Firth, I bought Your Movie Where The Truth Lies, it just really turned Me off, You having the role of playing with this so young actresses that are old enough to just be Your daughthers and the role that You plyed with them is just disgusting on My part. You are not the Dignified Colin firth That I use to like. You are a family man how can You accept this kind of roles. I do not believe that Yoa are desperate for money. I Am very sorry You just lost one of Your fans. Comment on this... |

| by misty Colin Firth is an exceptional British actor who brings his stage training to the celluloid medium. He is best in comedic parts, although he prefers to play dark and tormented types. My main complaint about Colin's acting is that he's yet to let go. He has the British restraint and troubled mien down just right, but there is a time and a place for letting the trouble and pain spill out. I don't think he's learned how to do that yet. Perhaps he hasn't had a script which has permitted him to. Of course his eyes communicate everything - humor, disbelief, anger and pain even. But I sense he's uncomfortable voicing feelings. Perhaps that's why the tormented who physically act out their angst appeal to him. I think he has yet to learn how to pick his parts, but I will continue to follow his career because he has so much natural charisma, intelligence, and humor. Comment on this... | ||||

| by Kathy Is it just me or does anyone else honestly think they are in love with Colin Firth? I mean, I am 46 years old and not prone to falling for movie stars, although I do love romance movies, but this is the man I have been looking for. Of course, it could be just the characters, but what if? An even bigger what if? What if the person you are supposed to be with, like a Mr. Darcy from the 18th century is your one and only love, yet he is dead long before you are even born? I think it's God's divine joke on some of us, to kill off our prospective partners for fun and amusement. Comment on this... | ||||
