Nedra Volz
Nedra Volz (18 June 1908 – 20 January 2003) was an actress born in Montrose, Iowa. She began her career in vaudeville as a toddler (called Baby Nedra) and ended up in the 1970s as a well-recognized (if not well-known by name) supporting actress primarily on televison and also in film. She often played grandmothers or feisty little old ladies. She had the recurring role of housekeeper Adelaide Brubaker on Diff'rent Strokes.
Married Oren Volz in 1944 and was the mother of 2 children, Edward Volz and Linda Deffenderer.
She died of Alzheimer's disease in Mesa, Arizona at the age of 94.
