British-born Natascha McElhone established herself as a talented leading actress early in her career starring in high profile films opposite such mega-stars as Jim Carrey, Anthony Hopkins, Brad Pitt and Harrison Ford. McElhone will soon be seen in Steven Soderbergh's Solaris opposite George Clooney. Laurel Canyon debuted at the Cannes Film Festival and will also be released later this year, co-starring Frances McDormand, Christian Bale and Kate Beckinsale. Also recent was Feardotcom, directed by Bill Malone and also starring Stephen Dorff and Stephen Rea.

McElhone starred opposite Jim Carrey in The Truman Show. She also starred opposite Robert DeNiro in John Frankenheimer's action adventure film Ronin. Additional credits include Kenneth Branagh's musical film Love's Labour's Lost, singing and dancing in an ensemble cast that included Nathan Lane and Alicia Silverstone.

McElhone's first major feature was Merchant/Ivory's Surviving Picasso opposite Anthony Hopkins. She has also appeared in Alan Pakula's The Devil's Own opposite Brad Pitt and Harrison Ford, and in Marleen Gorris' critically acclaimed Mrs. Dalloway, sharing the title role with Vanessa Redgrave.

A student at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art for three years before beginning her career in theater in 1993, McElhone's early stage credits include starring roles in the productions of Richard III, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Cherry Orchard, and A Midsummer Night's Dream.
