Greta Garbo is one of the most beautiful women to grace the silver screen.
She was a very savvy investor. She retired in 1941 and yet managed to live on her money for nearly fifty years without ever appearing in films again.
She was a closet lesbian who had an affair with a woman named Mercedes who also had an affair with the bisexual Marlene Dietrich.

From what I've heard Greta Garbo had many affairs with women including Eva Le Gallienne who was also a lesbian/bisexual. And I once read in Zsa Zsa Gabor's autobiography that she once(Ms. Gabor) kissed Greta Garbo on the mouth, despite their age difference. I'll have to read the book again to make sure it was Greta Garbo she kissed since I haven't read the book in a long time.
In my opinion Greta Garbo was the most beautiful actress of all time. She certainly is one of my favorites and I've rented a biography on her life, which I will soon read. I find Greta Garbo's life to be the most fascinating celebrity life. She had it all: beauty, charm and talent.
