Marianne Muellerleile

While Ms. Muellerleile was appearing in A Streetcar Named Desire at the University of Minnesota, the director invited Tennessee Williams to see their production. Williams called her part of the future of American theater.

Although she she felt acting was just too impractical and put off devoting herself to it, Muellerleile moved to Los Angeles in 1981.

Ms. Muellerleile's more than 175 television credits include Will & Grace, Passions, Chicago Hope and 3rd Rock From The Sun. Her feature film credits include Memento, Return to Me, Liar Liar and Passion Fish.

Ms. Muellerleile and her husband, retired USAF Lieutenant Colonel Tom Norris, live in Los Angeles. For many years the couple operated free after-school programs, helping dozens of neighborhood kids with everything from homework to computers to life skills and cultural enrichment. She is still involved with different grassroots efforts and volunteer activities.

In her spare time Ms. Muellerleile enjoys traveling, family genealogy, sewing and the performing arts.
