Marguerite Moreau Biography (2)
Recently audiences saw Marguerite Moreau star in the smoldering independent film Wet Hot American Summer, opposite Janeane Garofalo and David Hyde Pierce, which competed at the Sundance Film Festival. Moreau will next be seen in the title role in Firestarter: Rekindled opposite Dennis Hopper, an original mini-series sequel for the Sci-Fi Channel based on the Stephen King novel Firestarter.
Upon graduation from Vassar College in 1999, Moreau secured the lead role in the mockumentary Off the Lip and the one-hour pilot Wall to Wall Records for Warner Bros. Television. Moreau also co-starred in Rave MacBeth, the modern re-telling of William Shakespeare's play, which was the first film to be shot on Sony's new generation of 24-p (progressive scanning) 1080 cameras.
Moreau's acting roots can be traced back to a young age when she made her feature film debut in The Mighty Ducks, for which she reprised her role in the following two sequels.
