| by fourlanty Hello everyone, I’ve been a Judy fan for about 30 years and I need to sell some of my collection. I could go on ebay but don’t have the time to do so... I could sell it to a used CD and books store, here, in Montreal, but I’d rather sell it to someone who really appreciates Judy’s talents than sell it to a total stranger… I have about 60 CD (mostly compilations), a hundred LP’s, 16 films on video, 11 videos (TV programs, etc.) and 11 books. Those are not really hard to find items but, maybe, somewhere, a new fan will be interested. If you need the details on each item, I can send them to you by email. I don’t have prices yet because it depends on what you could be interested in buying, just a few items or even the whole package! Thank you very much. Eric Comment on this... |

| by Amanda Adamson, 14 To some adults I know, it's a bit strange that I have a fascination with Miss Garland. Her music is the best I've ever heard, and though I am a teen with teen interests, I'd just like to say that I've ditched my old CDs and usually just listen to my Judy Garland CDs. To many, this may not seem like a life. I watch Judy Garland movies everyday. I listen to Judy Garland CDs everyday, and because of my sleeping disorder, I play a CD while I am sleeping. Everyday, constantly, there's a tune stuck in my head. Whether it's from "The Wizard of Oz", "Meet Me In St. Louis", "For Me And My Gal", "In The Good Old Summertime", or "Babes On Broadway", I sing it out in public. My voice may not be good, but I sing it anyway. I even sing it at school. And though I get picked on for my interests, as Miss Garland sang, "I don't care!" Her music and films have stood the tests of time and will continue to do so, provided that people advertise their adoration for Miss Garland and support the memory of her. That's why I am taking the time to make and join fanlistings that involve Miss Garland and why I take the time to post in my AOL jounral, which is all about Judy Garland and her career. | by miggeth Does anyone know if Judy Garland ever sang the song 'deep purple' written by Peter de Rose in 1934? I have a recording of this song that sounds distictly like Judy Garland's pretty, unique voice but i have no other information on it. I guess its not really important but i have almost all of her early work and this is my favorite track and i would like to know for sure. This song does not appear on any of her song indexes and i can only assume that it was a one off live performance. Anyone interested or knows of what i speak can contact me and ill send you the song.
