| by Mary Bergen-Meekins I want to commend Ms Lewis on the range of her talent as an actress. I've seen her on several television shows, as well as movies, and am always in awe of her performance. I am especially fond of the role she played as the mother to Morris Chestnut's character in "The Brothers". There was one scene in which she and her "son" were having a heart to heart talk about her dating her ex-husand, his father, again. I can't describe the range of emotion that she conveyed in that one scene - but as a woman, and a mother, it struck me as POWERFUl! Continued success, Ms Lewis. | by TriciaK I adore Jenifer Lewis. She is the consummate supporting actress. She sparkles in her television roles on both Girfriends and Strong Medicine. She is one the most consistently "employed" and recognizable Black women in the business and I hope she'll continue as everybody's Mother, Aunt, Best Friend, Wife, Advice Giver or whatever other shoes she can fill character-wise. Actually, it's time for her to have her own show.... if Eve, Kirstie, Whoopi and Ellen can do it... Jenifer surely can! Comment on this... | |||||||||
