Jayne Brook Forum

by Luke I first saw Jayne in "WIOU," a series that was unfortunately shortlived. I don't know if it was the ratings or that it couldn't find its audience or some other reason, but it was cancelled. I really liked this show - the pace, the behind-the-scenes drama of a television studio and especially the cast, which played off one another really well. I may be the only one who remembers that show, and I'd like to see the episodes that were taped released on DVD at some point, though I fear there were too few to justify that. But I've said all that to say this: the show was underrated, as was/is Jayne Brook. She comes across as a real person in all her roles, rather than a character, and I enjoy every program I see her in. Best wishes for continued success, Ms. Brook, and thanks for bringing us believable roles and outstanding performances! Comment on this...

by mike I first recognized her in "Don't tell mom the babysitters dead". I wish she was in more movies. She is very beautiful and definately deserves more roles. Comment on this...

by Jeremy Giles Jayne Brook is a great actress, always has been. I do have a problem with the fact that she has gotten some pretty small roles that are not worthy of her immense talent. She was good in Kindergarten Cop and Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, but they were fairly small roles and she certainly deserves better. But overall she is an exceptionally great actress and those gorgeous eyes of hers really make her stand out in a crowd. Comment on this...

by Eliza I first noticed Jayne Brook in Chicago Hope. Was a faithful follwer of the series that is, untill the entire cast was 'fired'. Jayne Brook, has amazing eyes that draws audience towards her, it is in her eyes that the story unfolds. Comment on this...

| by Laura Le Blanc Jayne Brook is a great role model for teenagers. i like the new series she is in called John Doe. she makes a great detective and i think i would like to be like her (an actress) but i am stuck in a small town in Massachusetts. i hope Jayne Brook will be able to read this because i realy look up to her as a role model.
