| by Maria-Elena LaFlam Recently I saw Jane Alexander in the movie Warm Springs, and seeing her face again prompted me to want to watch Testament, one of my all-time favorite movies because of the subject matter, the storyline, and the fascinating performance of all the characters in that film. Ms. Alexander's portrail of a courageous mother of three facing the unprecedented devastation in her community after an unidentified nuclear attack was outstanding. The sensitivity with which she played her role was both entrancing and touching. I own this movie in VHS and I just ordered the DVD version to see the featurettes and comments. I can't wait to get it. Ms. Alexander, I see that you have received many Tony awards for your teather performances. I feel you deserve an Oscar! With deep admiration... | by Dewitt Wilson I viewed the movie were Jane Alexander played the role of Calamity Jane a few days ago and really enjoyed her preformance in that role. She seems to have a real passion for playing the roles of past history people. I intend on seeking more of her movies. I feel she did a great job in the Calamity Jane movie. Comment on this... |
