I greatly admired Ms. Rolle acting ability. She brought so
much to each role she played. I feel she was no less than
great in her portrayal of a Chicago wife and mother in the
"projects". She brought sass and class to her role of
Florida Evans. I cannot take anything away from the other
actors in the series, but she was the greatest. Although
she was approximately 20 years John Amos' senior, she was totally believeable as his wife.
