Since her debut at age 15 in the film My Little Girl, Erika Alexander has been recognized for her tremendous performance skills, both dramatic and comedic. Sheltered from the fast pace of Hollywood, Alexander's young career was nurtured in New York, where, after one audition, renowned European director Peter Brook cast her in both the world tour and film versions of his nine-hour epic, The Mahabharata. Returning stateside, she was chosen by New York Shakespeare Festival director Joseph Papp for a role in his last play, The Forbidden City. Still in her teens, she received a personal request from Bill Cosby to create the role of Cousin Pam for the last two seasons of The Cosby Show. She then went on to co-star in the series Going To Extremes. In addition to her acting career, she is currently the head of her own creative idea and movie company, Two Hands and a Mouthful Productions. Its first scheduled feature production, Payback, will begin filming in the spring of 1996.
