| by michael bykov On summer of 1988 (14 years back!) I got acquainted with remarkable girls from London, which have arrived in Moscow to learn russian language. We splendid communicated, they heard new about Russia (soviet at that time), its dispositions and customs. We talked about many things: music, the policy, plans for the future - all were interesting for us. The number of girls were five, but to one of them I felt the greater warmth. Her name was Emily. And she was going to to become the actress. We were on 17 years, life only began. I much longed for, when they have left; a certain time I not even could present, how I shall communicate with local girls - such narrow-minded (sorry!) they seemed to me after not very easy (the different languages!), but such educational and confidential contact with "my englishwomen". Exactly Emili has written me several touching letters (from itself and with regard from the girlfriends), which have delivered me so much joys. The circumstances formed so that I could not to answerimm ediately, but afterwards... Afterwards was a service in Soviet Army, return in New Russia with its crisis and convulsions - in general, I much regretted that left the sensitive words from the past without answer. But at the heart of soul I saved the hope that someday, being in London, I shall try to find although anyone from our company with a help of old addresses. Most of all I was sorry that I have left without answer glorious Emily. Strangely, as for all these years I have not looked no films, in which has played making look younger talented actress Emily Mortimer (but after all I like movies and review regularly, truth, with author's, independent, festival gradient)! And only by cheer luck I have pulled out from ignorance! The Announcement of the new film "Lovely and Amazing" has forced me to awaken. Now I know, what natural, calm not play, but life(!) shows Emily-actress on the screen (I've just seen "The Kid") . She hasn't changed! For these years she has saved in itself briskness and freshness, persisting human (not only feminine!) attractiveness. I'm pleased. So, if anyone can help me with advice, how do I break my silence and thank Emily Mortimer: first - for her friendly feelings and letters (people have to answer - it is correct, I think ), second - that she has realized her dreams and became the remarkable actress. Remaining - I am in this faith - a remarkable persons, as I remember her. Thanks! Comment on this... |
