| by Liz Edie Falco intrigues me with her acting excellence! After watching her in the Sopranos these past few seasons, I can say that her voice, facial expressions, and every movement onscreen is wonderfully realistic. She has developed the character of Carmela Soprano to such a magnificent degree as wife, mother, lover, and friend that no one could ever come close to replacing her. The chemistry between Carmela and Tony and between Carmela and her children is palpable and leaves one with the impression of truly knowing this "First Lady" of the mob world. HBO viewers would be hard-pressed to deny the absolute magnetism of Edie Falco in her role here. Whatever they pay Edie Falco, she deserves every penny! I recently heard that Edie has adopted a young child. My best to her. It is difficult to find out anything else very personal about her. That's fine. Let her be. She has earned great respect from her fans, and hopefully, she will enjoy motherhood and be as good and loving and caring as we know Carmela Soprano has been through Edie's convincing images on screen. Edie Falco--I hope we will be graced in the future with your onscreen presence in works that are worthy of your talent! Comment on this... |

| by Neveen Hi, I am a new fan of the Sopranos, just purchased all the DVD's and watched them. The acting, the insights, the thought that went into this show amazes me. I was in a trance and couldn't stop watching. It took me a month to get throw the show. James & Edie are amazing actors, great work. Comment on this... |
