| by Melvin Bell ....When I was 46 yrs old I remember my Mother telling me that Gene Kelly was her favorite actor/dancer! When I was a little boy, My mother wouldn't miss a Gene Kelly movie. I don't know how she enjoyed it with the kids along. And me?, I think he is the greatest ! There has never been and will never be another Gene Kelly I hope to get to heaven and I hope he did too, maybe I will meet him. Comment on this... |

| by Cathy I don't think you can compare Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly re. who was the better dancer. They were both brilliant but they had completely different styles of dance. Gene Kelly was more acrobatic and robust whereas Astaire was suave, sophisticated and graceful! Comment on this... |
