| by Eartha Kitt I have always admired Miss Kitt, always believed in her honesty. She is so unique. When I was very young, Joseph McCarthy was on his campaign to bring down the stars by accusing them of being Communist. I never believed for one minute that Miss Kitt was anything but a good American and still believe that today. God bless you, Earth Kitt for being such a talented and unique entertainer. | by Dorothy Goodman I saw Earth Killt on tv this morning, April 5, 2003, for just about five minutes. She remains the most alluring, electrifying and beauty person, both inside and out, that this world has been blessed to have. In her 70's, she still inspsires and gives hope and joy. Her openness, her sharing of her life story, really helps people, and helped me today. Like her, I too, was born on a cotton plantation in South Carolina, and because of similar racial lienage as Ertha, which makes ysou look different than most people -- I too knew what it meant to be rejected. How wonderful the difference is though, on Miss Kitt. Isn't she lovely? There's a lot to be said for ethnic diversity!!! Eartha Kitt is an inspiration, a midnight song for the aching souls of any human being. How can you ever feel sorry for yourself or have a pity-party with Eartha Kitt moving you past your problems and past your pains with her exquisite mastery of the arts? She still looks like a million dollars. I know by her birthdate she truly is in her 70's, but you would only know that because the birthdate is revealed. Her ageless, exotic features and million dollar smile still draw you to her like a magnet. This is one classy lady. Comment on this... |
