He was just too hilarious with the weak pick-up lines he used to throw at Charisse (Vivica). I really do think he is underrated. | by Rosa Gutierrez I was at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood this past Sunday, and Duane drove up with his wife Tisha Campbell. He was friendly to everyone and just a regular guy. He looked familiar to me of course as he is a star but I did not realize he was the same Duane from Brooklyn, New York. When I called my sister to tell her who I just seen she flipped. They were friends and she has followed his career from the NBA to the present and is so proud of his achievements. I felt bad I did not approach him and tell him. Comment on this... | ||||

| by D. Bragg (Teacher) I will never forget the day I met Duane Martin. He was invited to his former elementary school in Brooklyn to speak to the students about when he was a student at the school. The gym teacher, Mr. Sherman had asked Duane to come. I was able to meet Duane because I was the director of the Drama Club. After his presentation, Duane Martin shook some of the student's hands and signed autographs. I extended my hand to him but he hugged and kissed me instead ,on the cheek. Duane Martin was sweet, kind, and humorous. I have crossed paths with many famous people but to me, Duane Martin was the best! I hope he keeps that humble, sweet spirit. Comment on this... |
