Dorothy Malone

Dorothy Malone is an American actress.

Malone's most famous role was as Constance MacKenzie Carson on the televison night time soap opera Peyton Place between 1964 and 1968. She also played many small but memorable roles, among which are a young, brainy, lusty, bespectacled bookstore clerk in The Big Sleep (1946) and a mother convicted of having murdered her family in Basic Instinct (1992).

Malone was married and divorced three times and has two daughters from her first marriage.
