DEE WALLACE STONE has enjoyed 25 years of successful work in motion pictures and television. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Wallace Stone joined, a local theater group when she was only eight years old, studied dancing and began modeling and performing in television commercials. At the University of Kansas Wallace Stone majored in English and Drama, and upon graduation became a teacher for a year.

However, she decided to return to show business, modeling in New York and dancing in the famed Milliken industrial show. Wallace Stone began studying under famed teacher Uta Hagen, finally moving to Los Angeles to seek employment, which she readily found in a series of guest appearances on such TV series as The Streets of San Francisco, Ellery Queen, Starsky and Hutch, Police Woman, Barnaby Jones, Police Story, Lou Grant, Chips, Trapper John, MD, Hart to Hart and Taxi. She made her feature film debut in 1975's The Stepford Wives, followed by roles in Wes Craven's cult classic The Hills Have Eyes, Blake Edwards' 10 opposite Dudley Moore, and another fan favorite, Joe Dante's werewolf opus, The Howling. Simultaneously, Wallace Stone appeared in such TV movies as Young Love, First Love, The Secret War of Jackie's Girls, A Whale for the Killing, Child Bride of Short Creek and The Five of Me.

Since E.T The Extra-Terrestrial, Wallace Stone has worked non-stop in motion pictures and television. Her numerous feature credits include Cujo, Secret Admirer, Critters, Rescue Me, Huck and the King of Hearts, The Frighteners and several independent films. Her television movies have included Sin of Innocence, Miracle Down Under, An Enemy Among Us, Stranger on My Land, Prophet of Evil: The Ervil LeBaron Story, Witness to the Execution, Moment of Truth: Cradle of Conspiracy, Vanishing Son IV, Love's Deadly Triangle: The Texas Cadet Murder, The Perfect Mother, Bad As I Wanna Be: The Dennis Rodman Story and To Love, Honor and Betray, among others. She also starred in two series, The New Lassie and Together We Stand (CBS), and has appeared in more than 100 television guest star roles.

Dee Wallace Stone was married to the late actor Christopher Stone, with whom she starred in The Howling. Together they had a daughter, Gabrielle, now 13.Wallace Stone is now married to editor Skip Belyea.
