Cindy Morgan stars in TRON as a computer engineer whose former boyfriend is caught tampering with a huge, computerized information system.
Born and raised in Chicago, Morgan attended a Catholic girls' school on the city's northwest side, then earned a degree in speech communications at Northern Illinois University in Dekalb.
She worked as a disc jockey and a TV weather girl in several Midwestern cities, then embarked on a modeling career. In 1978, while working in a live show for Fiat, she travelled to Los Angeles. Shortly thereafter, she made a permanent move to the West Coast.
Television modeling led to the lead in the 1980 film, Caddy-shack, opposite Chevy Chase and Bill Murray. She has also appeared in television episodes of Love Boat and Vegas.
Morgan is single and lives in Hollywood.
