Hope she had a happy one, with many more to follow in good health, so she can (if she wants to of course) continue her acting, I would love to see more of her.

I only discovered Blythe Danner a few weeks ago, when one of our Dutch TV-stations got smart and started airing Presidio Med. (be it at 6 in the morning, duh!!)

I must have seen her before, cuz she looks so familiar, but I can't remember in which film.
Anyway, IMHO she (and her co-stars in Pres. Med) did an outstanding job, she managed to portray her character so well that I (had I not known better, LOL) could have believed she was a real doctor. even tho the script made her do things a real doctor would never do. (been a nurse and theatre-nurse for many years, and know a thing or two about doctors, LOL)

I really don't understand most of the American viewers for rating such a good show so low that CBS felt they should pull it, without even given it a fair chance.

I HOPE Dutch TV will show more of this classy actress, but from experience I KNOW that is wishful thinking...so I'll just have to do with checking the Web to keep up with what she's doing these days.

Wishing her all the best.

Oh, BTW, does anyone know if there's a possibility to come by Presidio Med on DVD???

I just have to say that Blythe's comment at the Emmy's really ticked me off. First of all I am a professional soldier who spent 13 months in Iraq. It was a really positive experience and I loved helping the Iraqi people. When stars make idiot comments like bring our childen home I just want them all to know I am not a child nor is anyone I work with and as professional soldiers comments like this are insulting. On a night of entertainment keep your narrow minded political comments to yourself Blythe!

I am "very" proud to be the "first" person to post a message about Blythe Danner! It was through my watching of "Will and Grace" that I became familiar with and developed an appreciation for this wonderful lady. I think that she does an excellent job of playing the part of Will's mother on the show. I really hope that they give her parts in more episodes this coming season! If anyone is interested in what I think of another "Will and Grace" star, you can punch into the "Debra Messing" portion of this web site. There are only two messages on this page and mine is the more recent of the two. I would be "very" interested in what other people think!
