He is ranked as 81st celebrity and 18th musician on the net

Jimi and Rush (Thu Jun 29, 2006 10:07pm ET)report post
by treblone06
I think both of them are great musicians that have both recently had dvds released. The Hendrix sp. ed. is great, and I just picked up Rush's Replay x3, which is no different. I got Rush latest dvd like a week ago, and would totally recommend it. It's full of material, including 3 dvds, a cd, and even reprints of the old tour books. Great guitar and drum work that you get to see up close with the amazing live footage. I got to watch the first two dvds at my work at UMGD and I was hooked. check it out: http://www.rush.com/php/replay_dvd.php

He was born on Nov 27
He was born in the 1940's
He died in the 1970's
He was an entertainer
He began to learn his art first from his father
He preferred to practice his art in what many people
would describe as left-handed

One of his parents died during his lifetime
He was a minority-in America
His official cause of death was drug related
He lived in Seattle for a time
He is burried in the Seattle, Washington area

by his surviving family-this has been rectified
To this day, people try to emulate him

Who am I talking about?

Hiya D.,

Just drifted here 'cos I was ripping my "Not Necessarily Stoned" EP after finally polishing the scratches off it (I blagged it from one of the band at a gig or party & it was told it was the last one the band had. It emerged in a dubious state from the bottom of a gig bag full of paraphenalia. It's never played all the way through!).

I remember seeing Beautiful People at the London Town & Country Club in '94 - what a class act! You were supporting Hawkwind.

There are still some very ardent fans out here - I know of half-a-dozen in my local town. Any chance of a reunion gig?

hey jimski reunions gigs hmmmm would love to its somthing that i have always had in mind if we were to reissue, have had a few offers but since the janey hendrix has taken over things the music seems to have taken more of a legal and less of a musical vibe. But dont rule it out will keep you informed Du Kane

Beautiful People:
In my teens I never had a gramophone or a stereo. But I got caught on Hendrix, so I had something like thirty-five Hendrix LP's - everything on polydor a set of singles and a few odds and ends. I never actually ever owned any other vinyl. Then I de-materialised. Two decades later I started buying CDs, I never bought Hendrix again, (its in my head) I now have the 9-track CD and the little brown cassette and a copy of Electric ladyland. I'm a Hendrix victim. And I love what you did with his samples. I've heard 60s/90s on Desert Island discs!
Have no idea where / how to find James Sundqvist, it must be hard to be son of someone like that. Try to be your own person.
Thanks for your amazing music.
Henry
