Jimmy Ray was a pop-rock star from East London. He was produced by Simon Fuller, the man behind many major Brit-pop groups of the time, most notably, The Spice Girls. Jimmy Ray scored a sizeable pop hit in both the United Kingdom and the United States with his Are You Jimmy Ray?, which was a #13 hit in the UK and charted as high as #13 in the United States.
