| by Helen Vanairsdale I don't know if this will get to Patty Duke, however the company I work for GIINW has a yearly auction to help benefit an organization within our community donating all proceeds. Goodwill Industries is a non'profit organization committed to fund programs with revenues from our retail stores, to help individuals develop independence through training and rehabilitation programs and helping them find employment. I am looking at a possible dinner with Patty Duke to be auctioned off at the fundraiser. The auction is October 15, 2004 and it would be very much appreciated if she would want to help out with this. I know that Patty Duke had a great influence on my mother when she was present for her book signing, my brother died of having the schizophrenic disease and my mom admired her because she is an advocate for individuals with mental disorders. | by Shirley Quackenbush I have been a fan since forever as I think she is one of the best actresses of my age. I am just a little older and am said to look similar to her. I try to see everything she is in and am always amazed at how well she does each part. In judging Amy last night she was great and I again think we have not seen her at her best yet as she has a range unsurpassed by any other acctress of our day. Anna don't quit as we love you. | by Darius Mazaheri I didn't like that movie one bit. It was sad and terrible. Patty Duke's character acted like a real bi_ch, just because she couldn't find out who killed her own daughter, and she never suspected her two best friends of being the murderers. I can't believe that she let ellen make a complete fool out of herself. I even hate it that ellen's parents were no help at all. It's parents like that who make a bad impression on themselves, for their children and people should not kill each other, because what is this world coming to? I mean life is the most precious thing on earth, you should never harm or kill anybody, because life is all there is. Comment on this... |
