rosie needs psychiatric help (Tue Nov 18, 2003 1:37am ET)report post
by june
This slob is sooooo oooog-leeeee! Rosie Odonnell was acting on her tv show. The real Rose is an overbearing, domineering, bossy, rude, un-funny slob. The uhg-lee faces that woman makes! Yuck!!!!!! Yuck!!!! Can you imagine kissing that? Her "marriage" is a farce, and soon the lesbian lover will dump her(when she has no popularity). Lesbians rarely maintain long relationships. Especially this type of self centered, ego centric, obsessive, abrasive, selfish nutcases. Anyone remotely attractd to Rosie, is not stable themselves. Those poor children she managed to get custody of!!!!!Next year, people will ask "rosie who?"

Can't We All Get Along? (Sun Nov 16, 2003 3:03pm ET)report post
by Ken
Now, now, just because she is untalented, irritating, obnoxious, pointlessly loud , a bald-faced liar, a sympathy-seeking rabid jackal and soul-less enough to kiss all the wrong asses doesn't mean she's ALL bad, now, does it?

A changed Rosie (Thu Nov 13, 2003 12:56pm ET)report post
by julie
I personally think Rosie has changed alot since she left the show. Even towards the end of her show she started showing her true colors. I used to think she was a real funny person with a huge heart. I now think she is very cocky and acts like she is the best thing that walks.

Americans love to fawn on celebs. It always amazes me that the ones who seem to get the most attention are so terribly unappealing. Forgive me, but this woman in unattractive, untalented, loud and nasty. I am bored with seeing her picture and story daily as I turn to my paper TV or computer. With any luck, now that the court case is over, she will just fade away.

Judge gets win/win (Wed Nov 12, 2003 10:26pm ET)report post
by Andrea
I would have liked to see Rosie win the case with the award, not only because she deserved to win, but look how much it would have helped the charity(ies) for children. I am inspired at the fact that she was willing to pay that exorbitant amount of money if she lost and I have absolutely no doubt that she would be true to her word. You are an inspiration with integrity second to none!

I am also shocked at some of the comments. Fine if you don't agree with the court case or the verdict. As they say, everyone is entitled to their opinion. But the vicious attacks and nasty comments don't deserve any courtesy or response. Shame on you!

All the best Rosie!!

Rosie's comment to a cancer survivor and Rosie excutive
"Liar's get cancer" was reprehensible! I don't care how angry one gets, her comment was rude and obnoxious.

Rosie has to stick to her guns I was thrown out of my job after 25 years of service. They only took the word of a few people; and tossed me out like some kind of monster. It hurts but you eventally start to heal emotionally.

Hurray for Rosie (Fri Nov 7, 2003 9:27pm ET)report post
by Cherie Gingerich
I'm a mom of four boys, ages 8 - 21, and I've loved watching Rosie since she was the emcee of that stand-up comedy show, the name of which I can't even remember anymore. Rosie is fun and funny and she's provided us with lots of laughs and entertainment for many years now. She has set a great example as an adoptive parent and doesn't give other women self-esteem issues, a la Martha Stuart (or however she spells her changed name). Rosie is real and down-to-earth --- what a breath of fresh air compared to all the phony women in the entertainment industry.

Rosie, I really loved your magazine and I miss it. But I don't blame you for taking them to court. What does Oprah have to say about all this? (I don't care what MS has to say about anything).

I used to be a greeting card writer, newspaper editor, and I have an MA in literature for children. When you get your magazine back, I'll be happy to freelance for you anytime. You are ahead of the times, Rosie, our country is still full of ignorant bigots who think the whole world should be run by rich white males. Kudos for standing up for your own principles.

And as long as people such as yourself continue to be gullible enough to be taken in by the public facade of vipers such as Rosie, the women's movement in this country will find it a challenge to gain credibility. You won't find the truth about Rosie in her own magazine or shows, now will you? So quit being lazy (or afraid of what you'll find) and do some real digging of your own. Go find a real woman to look up to instead of trying to create heros out of phonies like Rosie or Hillary.
