Well it's been a few months since I've been on here. Looks like I'm still the only one. I finally got my Wendt side of my room up. I have gotten pictures, 8x10's, more movies and some yearbooks from 1965 and 64. I got his home address and plan on making a vid to send to him. I just think it's cool to meet your heros. I wanna let him know that he is mine. Well George if your out there, Hi, and I hope I'll meet you someday. Until next time...........

I am the number one Wendt fan! (Wed Dec 4, 2002 6:44pm ET)report post

This is a cool thing right here. I've never really had the oppurtunity to share my feelings about George Wendt. I am a huge fan of the man and his work over the years. I'm not one of those amatuers who say "he was only on cheers". I know the man for his other fine roles. Bunny Baxter in "Guilty by Suspicion" and Harold in "House" and Fat Sam in "Fletch", the list goes on and on. My all time favorite Wendt movie is probably "Welcome to Planet Earth". In it he played Charlie a alien on vacation with his family whos idea of a good time is killing the scum that inhabit the city. It was a role that i was not used to seein Wendt in just for the charachter in general."Your nothing but a piece of shit child malester who should have been castarated with a dull knife first and then executed". What a different image then what we are used to seeing. I am a collector of his films and any other "Wendt" thing i can get my hands on. I'm currently in the process of rearranging my room in order to acomodate my two passions., Skateboarding and George Wendt. If I were to have been diagnosed with a termanal illness my last wish would be to just spend a day with him. I would just like to express my thanks and tell him that whenever i'm bummed or just pissed at the world i can pop in a Wendt film or reruns of cheers and just be enlightened. He is really the perfect example of what not only a great actor should be but what a great person should be. Thank you George Wendt for at least making every day of my life that much more humorous and great.
